Team performance

Getting a team to work well together and perform at its best is a seemingly impossible challenge that can floor even the most experienced manager. But, it doesn't have to be this hard.

At EEK, each consultant that you work with will be able to draw upon more than a decade of personal experience of managing people and will combine this with their psychological 'know-how' in order to bring you proven frameworks and methodologies for managing, measuring and improving the performance of your teams.

Typical assignments

1.

Enhancing team morale and dynamics through a process of external facilitation running over several weeks, involving one to one diagnostic interviews, identification and clustering of issues, individual and team feedback about what to do more of / less of / start and stop doing. Sensitivity, constructive confrontation and diplomacy skills are essential.

The outcomes achieved have ranged from the exchange of extremely frank and sensitive feedback issues to remarkable changes in leadership behaviour to the trouble-free resignation of underperforming staff members.

2.
Conducting a "talent audit" across a team, identifying individual and combined strengths, individual and combined risk areas as well as individual and combined development plans. The specific agenda and objectives vary from team to team and across organisations but generally include the provision of high quality information to management to identify talent gaps and unexploited strengths, AND provision of detailed, specific feedback to individuals about their contribution, value and potential. May include 360° feedback, business simulations, case studies, psychometric profiling and other interventions.
